Edit Merge Report

  • Edit enables the user to make following changes to the merge reports.

(I) To change name of the report.
(II) To add/remove/change constituent merge report.

Objective​

  • Edit Merge Report

Prerequisites​

  • For this example Demo Merge Report & Customers details.rptdesign are used.

Download merge_report.zip file from link given merge_report.zip

  • From the zip file you have downloaded upload Demo Merge Report.merge in Merge Report & Customers details.rptdesign in Report Section of AIV. Refer this link to see how to upload files in AIV. Use same procedure to upload both of the files.

Steps to Edit Merge Report​

  1. Right-click the desired merge report and select Docusaurus Slash Introduction from the context menu as shown in the figure below:

  2. The following dialog box will open as a result of the above actions performed by the user:

  3. User have option to update the File Name.

  4. You can also remove the existing reports or add new reports to be merged. For this example; we will add Customers details.rptdesign as shown:

  5. Click on '>' at the center & as we have used report with parameter to add, write respective parameter in the box as shown:

  6. Finally click on Docusaurus Slash Introduction to Save the changes done & it will also redirect yout to the another window of the browser to see the Merge Report.

  7. Clicking on Docusaurus Slash Introduction will redirect you to another window of browser, where user can see their Merged Report before saving the same.

  8. In case of any further help, the user can click on the Docusaurus Slash Introduction icon to access the AIV help documents.

  9. If the user is not satisfied and wants to cancel the create request, he can do this by clicking on the cancel button next to create or by clicking on Docusaurus Slash Introduction button next to the Docusaurus Slash Introduction icon.

  10. In this manner,you can edit your merge reports in the AIV application.
