Widget Settings are properties by using of which user can change the appearance of widget. changing property is limited to that widget. Using this property we can improve look and feel of the dashboard.
ποΈ Widget Refresh Settings
The widget refresh properties stand for making widget refresh in userβs required time in dashboard widget, you can set time on durations of seconds, minutes, and hours.
ποΈ Widget Box Shadow
The widget box shadow properties stand for generating shadows on the border of the widgets.
ποΈ Widget Border Properties
The Widget Border properties used to add border in the widget, Here in AIV we have two kind of functionalities under the border properties.

The widget icon properties are used to set the icon related functions. visibility of widget icons can be configred from here.
ποΈ Widget Internal Area
Widget internal area padding clears an area around the content. The being padding is transparent.

ποΈ Dashboard Preview Options
Dashboard can be viewed in Desktop view, tablet view and in mobile view. Requirement may arise when user want some selected widget to be displayed in selected view and remains hidden for other views. User can define this privecy using Dashboard Preview Options.
ποΈ Dynamic Auto Link
AIV has this OOB feature called Dynamic Auto link where widgets created with the same dataset are automatically linked with each other. When user click on one chart or table, other widgets created with the same dataset will automatically gets filtered.
ποΈ Extra Label
Extra Label is a label displayed at the bottom most of the widget used to redirect on some external link or on detail data. User can also add label icons for this extra label and chnages appearance of extra label.
ποΈ Socket
A socket is one endpoint of a two-way communication link between two programs running on the network. A socket is bound to a port number so that the TCP layer can identify the application that data is destined to be sent to.
ποΈ Miscellaneous Properties
Miscellaneous Properties setting contains some out of the box functionality in AIV. Click on widget setting icon from edit mode and you will see property as Miscellaneous Properties as below screenshot,
